Avonsmere Park features the best of both worlds as it offers rural tranquillity while only being 5 miles from bustling city centre of Bristol. The park offers an excellent community atmosphere and is well established in the area. Upgrades are currently going on in the park since being recently acquired from Britannia Parks.
Nestled in between allotments and a number of college playing fields, Avonsmere Park is located in the northern suburb of Stoke Gifford. Shops and supermarkets are a short walk from the park and stretching to the interior of Bristol is the “Green Lung”, a large green area that is located to the south of Stoke Gifford and perfect for cycling and walking. There are two parks with children’s playground equipment, two pubs, and a pair of tennis courts in the area.
With its waterside location, Bristol is southwestern England’s largest and liveliest city. Here you will find plenty of boats, historic buildings, restaurants, and other tourist attractions which make this a beautiful, energetic, and exciting city. It is also the gateway to England’s southwestern region making it a great place to explore the wonders of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, and Somerset.
You’ll find a bus stop at Avonsmere Park’s entrance providing links to the city centre and the Cribbs Causeway. Trains to Birmingham, London, and other cities can be acquired at the Bristol Parkway station. Additionally, you are only a half hour’s drive from Bristol Airport which offers flights to many popular destinations throughout Europe.
