Backed up against the Great Wood and overlooking some beautiful countryside is the all-seasons park called Bluelieghs Park. The park is visited by a diverse abundance of wildlife and yet sometimes it is so quiet that all you hear is the songs of the birds. Despite the rural feeling of the park, you are only three miles from the busy shopping centre located in Ipswich. Bluelieghs has its own character displayed by the unique landscaping and its non-traditional appearance.
Bluelieghs Park offers a tranquil setting and is situated in Suffolk just outside of Ipswich. You can gaze out over open countryside and woodlands as you are overlooking the village of Great Blakenham. The local bus stop is only a 400 metre walk from the park and the route will take you into Ipswich, to a local shop that is only a mile down the road, or the supermarket that is only 10 minutes away.
If you want to enjoy the fresh air and sea views, you are only 11 miles from the coast. Or if you would rather experience a slice of history, Norwich Castle and Cathedral is nearby. A bowling course, the Newmarket Race Course, a swimming pool, three theatres, and two cinemas are also a short distance from Bluelieghs Park. Only 20 minutes away is Freeport outlet village with its restaurants and shops. Suffice it to say there is plenty here to keep you from getting bored.
