Another one of the newer additions to the Wyldecrest Group of Parks is Elmstead Park, a residential park that offers the homeowner some spectacular views of the surrounding countryside while being situated only a few miles away from the nearest motorway.  There are already 41 plots, each one being ideally situated to provide the homeowner with their own distinctive views.  This is a great smaller community and the residents all look out for one another.

Certain conveniences such as the post office and shops are all located within walking distance of Elmstead Park.  Each home plot has been situated in such a way so that the homeowner benefits from their home’s location as well as the views they are provided.  There is an area of re-development going on inside the park and future homeowners will be able to choose, design, and site their homes.

East Cholderton borders the Pillhill Brook, below Mullens Ponds, near Thruxton.  The brook was a popular summer bathing and swimming venue in earlier times before the present abstraction levels became apparent.  Additionally, Elmstead Park is almost totally protected by the Conservation Area Plan.  The surrounding area features low density, upmarket housing and very open countryside.
