Thornlea Park is considered an excellent place to retire because of its clean air, a relaxed South Coast lifestyle, and the sea just beyond the horizon.  The park is perfectly situated in the velvety countryside of West Sussex close to amenities in the town of Wick and only a few miles from the coast.  There is a thriving social club here at the park that plans regular coffee mornings, dances, dinners, outings, and other social events.

Thornlea Park is located south of the historic town of Arundel and close to Wick so you will be close to the sea but you can also travel to London and other main cities with little difficulty.  Most shopping needs can be found in Wick but only 2 miles from Thornlea Park is Littlehampton and its wider assortment of stores.

The impressive Arundel Castle is one of the major attractions in the area and is visible from Thornlea Park.  This area of West Sussex offers the park resident just about every recreational activity imaginable such as fishing, formal gardens, golfing, historical monuments, museums, and sailing.  Additionally, there is an abundance of attractions waiting for you in Littlehampton including the East Beach Cafe, Harbour Park, and the River Arun.

Regular buses to Arundel, Brighton, and Littlehampton can be caught just outside Thornlea Park’s entrance while the Littlehampton mainline railway station offers regular routes to Gatwick Airport and London which is less than a one-hour’s drive from the park.
