Tregatillian Park is best described as being a residential park set within North Cornwall’s countryside as well as being a haven for enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. The park is encompassed by the spectacular Cornish countryside and is also the home to a wide variety of birds and other wildlife. There is a wildlife field adjacent to Tregatillian Park and is an ideal area for seeing deer roaming the countryside will enjoying one of the many nature walks of the region.
Although nearby St. Columb Major is not a large town, it offers a broad assortment of shops where you can find all of your daily needs. Nine miles from the park is Newquay which can provide you with additional amenities such as a leisure centre and supermarkets.
The park that provides easy access to North Cornwall’s coastline is located less than 10 miles from Newquay which is a seaside resort community and a very popular destination. You can enjoy the many different beaches and coastal walks that the area features and of course, being the “Garden Capital of the World” there is a number of lush tropical gardens that you can explore. There are also plenty of countryside hikes and walks as well as several golf courses. Additionally, 12 miles from Tregatillian Park is Padstow, the area’s traditional fishing port.
The nearest daily bus stop for linking to other regional centres is located in St. Columb Major. However, once a week on Thursdays, the Tesco bus stops at Tregatillian Park. Additionally, there is an airport and a railway station in Newquay.
