Waterbeach Park

Waterbeach - Cambridgeshire

Conveniently located and well-established near the edge of the village of Waterbeach, and only 5 miles to the north of the site of the university city of Cambridge is Waterbeach Park.  It is situated close to the River Cam and is surrounded by open countryside and farmlands.  Everyday amenities are only a short walk from the park which has an excellent community atmosphere and spirit.

  

You can find a grocery store, parish church, post office, public houses, and restaurants in the village of Waterbeach.  Additionally, anglers clubs, football, and the Waterbeach Brass Band provide the residents of Waterbeach Park with plenty of entertainment throughout the year.  In addition to the historical University of Cambridge, there is a good assortment of restaurants and shops as well as being the home to the Cambridge Beer Festival held annually in May.


The beautiful River Cam and its Fens is only a short walk from Waterbeach Park but there are other competitive sporting, leisure, and recreational activities including:

You can catch trains to Cambridge, London, or Stansted Airport at Waterbeach’s local train station.  Running every half hour to Cambridge and Ely are local buses which stop right outside the park’s entrance gates.  Stansted Airport is less than 40 miles away and offers flights to most European cities.
