Local facilities include Whitland’s Hywel Dda Gardens & Interpretive Centre. It is named after Hywel Dda who was formerly the King of Wales during the 10th century AD. The memorial is comprised of 6 uniquely landscaped gardens, each of which represents a different division of the country’s law. Additionally, the gardens have been planted with specimens that were characteristic of medieval times in Wales. Artwork such as etched and stained glass, ceramics, enamels, iron works are all on display for residents of Westover Park to enjoy when visiting the Interpretive Centre and gardens.
